  • App Backup – backup apps from your device to your SD.
  • Camera Trap – discreetly emails you a photo of anyone trying to unlock your phone.
  • Device Lock – locks your phone whenever the SIM card is replaced.

4) AVL

If you don’t need all the anti-theft features and just want a polished and effective anti-virus, AVL is the one for you.

It’s got a 100% malware detection rate and apparently has no adverse effect on battery despite running in the background.

5) Avira Antivirus Security

With this app, you can scan your phone manually for potentially malicious apps or updates and anything new downloaded to the device will be scanned automatically.

The real value with this app lies within its web portal, where you can easily manage security features for any registered devices remotely.
